Another key component of a family-friendly compact SUV is safety, and the new Envision delivers. The 2021 Buick Envision lineup offers a wide array of standard and available driver-assist safety tech, including features like Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Chevy Reigns in J.D. Power Seat Quality Study

Your car is your faithful companion that takes you everywhere you need to go. While you may love the way your car looks, the way it feels is even more important. Does it keep you comfortable? If the answer is no, then you need a Chevrolet. The Chevy brand recently scored high marks in the J.D. Power 2020 Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study.

In the study, J.D. Power looked at how many problems were reported per 100 vehicles, or PP100, during the first 90 days of ownership. The models with the lowest number of problems earned the top spot in each segment. In this year’s study, three Chevy models came away with the best results in their segments, with another scoring a third-place finish.

Chevrolet Sonic

In the compact car segment, the Chevrolet Sonic had the best ratings for its seats with only 2.5 problems reported per 100 vehicles.

Chevrolet Impala

Moving up to the midsize sedan group, the roomy Impala had the best results. It had only 6.6 PP100.

Chevrolet Equinox

Two New Chevy Bolts are Coming Next Year

Each year, hybrid and electric vehicles become more and more popular. That’s why auto manufacturers are dedicating more of their lineups to this type of technology. Chevrolet is currently working on an upgraded version of the Bolt EV and an all-new Bolt EUV to expand its electric vehicle offerings. Both models will make their debuts for the 2022 model year and will go into production next summer.

Chevrolet has not released much information about these new electric vehicles; however, we do know that the Bolt EUV, which stands for “electric utility vehicle”, will be about five inches longer than the standard Bolt EV. This will give it more space for your family and all your gear. The Bolt EUV will also have more SUV-like styling. It’s also possible that the Bolt EUV will offer a roof rack.

Another exciting addition to the Bolt EUV will be the availability of Super Cruise. This will be the first GM model outside of the Cadillac brand to offer this advanced hands-free driving technology.

As for the Bolt EV, it’s getting some significant updates for 2022. These updates will include new gear selector buttons, adaptive cruise control, more comfortable seats, a new infotainment system, and an improved dashboard. Cadillac CT5 Wins Initial Quality Award

When you purchase a new vehicle, especially a luxury model, you expect it to be made with premium, high-quality materials. However, some vehicles do not live up to these high expectations. One way to discover the best of the best is to check the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, or IQS. In this year’s results, the 2020 Cadillac CT5 outpaced rivals and was ranked No. 1 among premium midsize sedans.

The IQS surveys the owners of new vehicles and asks them to report on any problems they encountered during the first 90 days of ownership. Each vehicle is then scored on the number of problems experienced for every 100 vehicles. The lower the score, the better the ranking.

This award for the CT5 is even more impressive when you consider that it is the first model year for this vehicle. Brand new models often exhibit more unexpected problems than models that have been on the market for a few years.

Three other Cadillac models also scored at the top of their segments. These include the XT4 as the best in the compact premium SUV segment, the CT6 in the upper midsize premium car group, and the Escalade, which claimed the No. 1 spot among large premium SUVs.
