Hit Films to See in Theaters this Holiday Season

Summer is usually the season for blockbuster movies, but December is also when the biggest movies of the year arrive. If you’re looking to enjoy a movie with the whole family this holiday season, be sure to check out these films.

Frozen II

When the original Frozen hit theaters in 2013, it quickly became an international phenomenon. What better time of year than Christmas to see Anna, Elsa, and everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, on the big screen once again?

Jumanji: The Next Level

It’s time to get your head in the game once again with the sequel to 2017’s surprise hit, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. This time, however, not everyone ends up in the same avatars as last time, leading to some hilarious hijinks.

Spies in Disguise

What happens when the world’s best spy gets trapped in the body of a pigeon? Will Smith and Tom Holland star in the new animated film that answers that question with lots of laughs.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The Skywalker saga of Star Wars comes to an end with the ninth entry in the series, which sees Rey and her allies face off against the newly-appointed Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and, perhaps, an even more nefarious threat.

We at Courtesy Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac hope that you and your family have an entertaining and enjoyable holiday season.

Why Tailgating in the GMC Sierra Is Better with the MultiPro Tailgate

A pickup truck is defined by the bed, which unlocks a world of options and capabilities not offered by other vehicles. The GMC Sierra MultiPro Tailgate is designed to play as hard as it works. If you’re looking to get friends together and tailgate before a big game or a community event such as Independence Day fireworks, these features will help you get the most out of your GMC Sierra.

Primary Gate

The primary gate is easy to open thanks to a release button on the tailgate, an instrument panel button, or a button on your key fob. These opening options make it possible for you to get what you want from the bed with ease.

Easy Access

Lower the MultiPro inner gate while the primary gate is lowered to make for closer and easier access to the bed. If you’re trying to unload a bulkier object, reaching for boxes further back, or having trouble getting a step into the bed, the GMC Sierra is designed to make it all easier.

Full-Width Step

A 48-inch step rated for 375 pounds assists entry to the bed. An available hand grab can be locked in place from the bed wall to make ascent and descent even safer.

2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV Range Increases by 21 Miles

The Chevy Bolt has already impressed drivers and critics worldwide with its amazing range, but the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV range has reached new heights — or, distances.

Increasing by 21 miles over the outgoing Bolt model, the 2020 Bolt EV will achieve up to 259 miles of range on a single electric charge.* If any drivers considering the switch to an all-electric car had range anxiety before, this should certainly quell any concerns.

“The Bolt EV set the benchmark for long-range, affordable electric vehicles, and we’re excited to raise the bar by offering nearly 10 percent more EPA-estimated range for the 2020 model year,” commented Tim Grewe, director of Global Battery Cell Engineering and Strategy. “At Chevrolet we’re constantly listening to customer feedback and we heard the desire for more range.”

The 21-mile improvement was a genius innovation. The company’s battery-engineering team didn’t need to change the physical battery pack or the way that pack was integrated into the Bolt EV’s body structure. Instead, the team was able to manipulate the battery’s cell chemistry slightly. Even the small tweaks improved the energy of the cell electrodes, enabling the range improvement.

You can get the 2020 Bolt EV at Courtesy Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac later this year from Courtesy Chevrolet.

*EPA-estimated 259-mile EV range. Your actual range may vary based on several factors including temperature, terrain, and conditions.
