Upgrades to Super Cruise Include Availability on More Models

When Cadillac Super Cruise technology made the top of Consumer Report’s first-ever comprehensive comparison of automated driving systems, the news made headlines. Cadillac had beat out Tesla, Volvo, and Nissan in terms of communicating to the driver when the technology was safe to use, keeping drivers engaged with the hands-free system, and preparation for an unresponsive driver.

Since the Consumer Report ranking, it has become clearer that Cadillac manufactures the closest thing to automated driving on the market today. The only major drawback to Super Cruise, many have said, is that it is only available on one model: the CT6 sedan. That will soon be changing.

During the debut of the second vehicle offering Super Cruise (the 2020 Cadillac CT5), the automaker announced that it would be releasing a new vehicle with Super Cruise every six months through 2021. That amounts to five vehicles with this amazing smart technology in the next two years.

As Cadillac continues its upgrades to Super Cruise technology, we at Courtesy Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac are exciting it will be available on more models you’ll find on our lot.
