No two truck owners are the same, so customization options are everything when it comes to building the right truck for your unique needs. Now that’s easier than ever, thanks to a new online 2021 Chevrolet Colorado configurator. In just eight quick steps, you can build your custom Chevy Colorado. The process includes picking the trim level, body configuration, engine, exterior and interior colors, exterior and interior features, package selection, and accessories.
There are three body styles and four trim levels to choose from. The base level isn’t an option for the 2021 model, but you can choose from Work Truck, LT, Z71, and ZR2, and can opt for either 4WD or RWD.
Three different engine options provide a nice selection of power to meet your needs. There’s the 200-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder LCV that delivers 191 lb-ft of torque, or the stronger 3.6-liter V6 LGZ which boasts 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. If you prefer diesel, you can go for the 181 horsepower, turbo diesel 2.8-liter four-cylinder LWN Duramax® that kicks out 369 lb-ft of torque.
Once you’ve settled on colors and features, you can start choosing packages for your truck. Options include the Safety package, which adds driver-assist features like Forward Collision Alert. There’s also the Z71 Midnight Edition package, which adds sleek, black accents and capable upgrades like 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® all-terrain tires.
